A simple yet splendid Victorian glass chandelier, with 4 solid hockey-stick arms ending in petal-shaped pans and tulip nozzles, and dressed with cut-Albert drops. This chandelier, dating from the early 19th century, has been converted for electricity in our workshop, with elegant French candles, and is fully tested.
Its central glass stem is interspersed with 2 pans dressed with additional cut-Albert drops, from which hang strings of octagonal buttons to the backs of each arm. And there are drapes of octagonal buttons hanging off the four crooks to underneath the arms. A cut-glass bubble hangs at the very bottom.
This striking chandelier has been fully restored and rewired in our workshop. It would very much suit any room with high ceilings.
