This is a very high quality pair of twin-branch cut-glass wall lights with a large star-rosette-shaped backplate, that date from the early part of the 19th century.
They have hollow arms, which we believe were originally used for gas, with a thumbprint design, leading to beautifully cut pans that are dressed with triangular icicles. From a central crook, Georgian-glass-button drapes and pear drops hang down to the back of each arm. A central glass spike sits atop the crook, and then a large pear drop hangs from the very bottom.
They have been professionally restored and rewired in our workshop, and are ready for installation.
