Pair of Etched-Glass Bell Lanterns, ca 1880

These are a pair of small and beautifully etched-glass bell lanterns made around the end of the 19th century. They are of a particularly good quality.

Designed originally for oil or candle, they have been electrified with a singular central lamp holder as their light source.

The bells have matching intricate leaf and floral patterns etched on them throughout, with a glass knob finial at the bottom. They have the original brass chain and three-way suspension hook, as well as their smoke lids on top.

Status : rewired and ready for hanging.
